Our atypical boutique hotel, La Guitoune, is just 10 minutes by car and 20 minutes on foot, from one of the most exceptional sites on the Atlantic Coast, the Dune du Pilat. The highest dune in Europe impresses with its remarkable dimensions, which are constantly changing: around 100 meters high, 6 kilometers long and millions of m3 of sand. With over 40 centuries of history, your hike, with or without a guide, will be a journey through the ages, the characteristics of the plants present and the nature activities offered from April to September. Wedged between the Atlantic Ocean and the forest, the Dune du Pilat can be visited in summer and winter and offers a resplendent landscape.
